Marco Bittelli is an Italian jazz guitarist and composer based in Bologna.

His musical journey has taken him from Italy to the United States, where he attended seminars and masterclasses with renowned guitarists including Joe Pass, while performing with numerous ensembles throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Between 1996 and 2001, he performed with the Gregory Yasinitsky Big Band. Since 2009, his original compositions have been published by Pacific Coast Jazz (San Diego, California).

He has recorded and performed with many artists including Horace Young, Charles Argersinger, Gregory Yasinitsky, David Jarvis and David Snider, as well as many musicians across the United States and Europe.

Alongside his work as a performer and composer, Marco develops experimental music technologies, designing software and interactive web applications for music generation, composition, improvisation and practice. His recordings, compositions and sheet music are available in the Music section of this website.
